Oleg Bugrov, one of key witnesses of MH17 tragedy, who talked about BUK 3 days before attack, arrested by Russian secret service.

Next day after MH17 was shot down Security Service of Ukraine posted a video with audio of the phone calls between pro-Russian rebels and their coordinators from GRU Russian secret service. In that phone call recorded on July 14, 2014, Oleg Bugrov complains that he was trying to shot down Ukrainian military aircraft near Stanytsia Luhanska and missed. His coordinator “Oreon” tells him not to worry and that the situation will change in couple days as they already have BUK and they will be shooting all the planes down. Oleg Bugrov replies: “Yes, I know about it.”

At that time Oleg Bugrov was “Defense Minister” of the so called Lugansk People’s Republic. On November 29, 2014 he was put on the List of persons and entities under EU restrictive measures over the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

An International Joint Investigation Team of MH17 tragedy posted Call for witnesses on March 30, 2015. There is video with details attached to that post that has audio of phone calls between terrorists and the route of the truck that brought BUK from Russia to Donetsk via Lugansk.

On the same day on March 30, 2015, Oleg Bugrov was arrested in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation. This was reported by Fontanka News Agency here. According to information that Fontanka posted Oleg Bugrov returned to Russian in January 2015. At that time he already was “ex-minister” of so-called Lugansk People’s Republic. He was arrested by FSB (Russian secret service) for “illegal supply of pipes”. And for his smuggling activities he was put in max security prison of FSB that only has 7 prisons like that around Russia. You can read news about Gugrov’s detention in English at Ukrainian separatists’ former Defense Minister detained in St. Petersburg

Oleg Bugrov could be very important witness for the International Investigative Team, obviously Russia wants to make sure he won’t talk.
