160 terrorists hunted by Belgium

Belgium has placed 160 terrorists on an international arrest warrant, indicated the spokesperson for the federal magistrate, Eric Vand Der Sypt, to newspapers. 

 

He says that these warrants "have been rising the last couple of years” and that they concern both convicted terrorists as well as fugitives.

The international arrest warrant is a judicial procedure that aims to simplify the arrest and extradition of an individual who is on the run or who may reside outside the territory of the country that looks for him.
